Once again the Bowman Fun Run was a success. Lots of parents ran with kids, lots of kids ran faster than their parents, teachers ran with students, and lots of students ran fast than teachers. One thing that everyone could agree on was the brisk 45° start kept runners on the move. After all, once the wind starts blowing, there is no more motivation needed to get a runner to pick up the pace.
At the finish line, runners were greeted by cheering family and friends. Ms. Glick and I had a great view of the runners coming down the stretch. Although it was fun to watch people run. I really enjoyed catching up with a number of Brufftopians who moved on from Bowman School. I believe the saying goes something like, "Once a Brufftopian, always a Brufftopian."
