A while ago,I read a awesome story called Dragon Breath Knight-naped.In the story they are having a normal day when a pigeon comes and lands on Danny's head. They find a note scrolled up and when they look on it says that Danny's cousin"Spence trapped in a castle and needs help to get help to get out the castle. They had already known that they had a quest! Danny and Wendell have to make up an excuse to sleep over Christiana"s house when they find out that he cousins run the castle that Spencer is trapped in.When they get there they ask there mother if he can sleep the night over Christiana"s house. When she finaly.looks at them the room goes silent she narrowed her eyes and tilted her head to the side slowly."I know i am going to regret saying this but why are you wearing a pigeon?" Oh yah,it is wear a pigeon on your head day."Then why isn't Wendell wearing one?"Because his mom said no and that it is totally unnecessary." In this book, Nikki loses her diary, but not just LOSES it, her archenemy, Mackenzie has her diary and writes about her life and brags about everything! Meanwhile, Nikki, Chloe, and Zoe search for Nikki's diary everywhere. I don't want to give any spoilers but let's just say something AMAZING happened to Nikki NEAR the end of the book. Seriously, I thought this book was the best book ever! I really enjoyed having a big inside scoop of Mackenzie's life, i learned so much stuff about her i didn't know! Also, in most books , they never give inside scoop about other important characters. This book has gone WAAY past that, and i like that it had a big inside scoop. I was surprised this book had that. Overall, i give this book a HUGE 10/10. For more information about the book, check out Rachel Renée Russell's website. Book Review by Mar S.I recently finished the book The Valley of the Giant Skeletons and really liked it because it has a lot of surprises like famous people, [fake famous people!] and a lot of friendship in it . It gets exciting when Geronimo finds a very, very famous rodent (it doesn't look suspicious] but it could be fake). Africa doesn't seem like a lot of trouble, but if you read this book it might just change your mind about a few things, for example a can't be a lot of trouble but again this book is different because it might change your mind (I'm not changing your mind about going to Egypt and finding treasures) Geronimo, his cousin Trap, his sister Thea, and his sweet little nephew Benjamin go to Africa to find Uncle Wally's treasure, but will they find the treasure, or will they find something else truly amazing? For more information about the book, check out Geronimo Stilton's website. Book Review by Sanidi W.Recently I read Charlie Bone And the Time Twister by Jenny Nimmo. It all starts when Charlie finds Henry (his great-great uncle) twisted through time from a marble called a time twister. Since Henry got twisted through time to the future, his family members are like 100 years old. You might think that everybody would love to see a family member that disappeared, but not his cousin Zeke. He always hated Henry because Henry was smarter than Zeke. So, Charlie has to take Henry to where he belongs. But will he be able to do that Even with his evil great – aunts lurking beside him? I loved this book because of how the mystery sort of connects in the end of the book and sort of make you wonder why you didn’t figure it out already. I also like this book because I LOVE fantasy. I especially liked the fantasy in this book because unlike some other books that have fantasy, Charlie Bone And The Time Twister ‘s characters have the most obvious powers such as hypnotizing, moving things with mind and flying. For more information about the book, check out Jenny Nimmo's website. Trailer by Hannah C., Natalie L. and Vivian L. Book Review by Hannah C. Overall I would say Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney is a great book. If you like funny chapter books, this is the right book for you. I would say it's a balance between realistic fiction and fiction. Some of my favorite parts are when the main character, Greg, wants to stay inside all summer long. But his mom wants to take him to the town pool. So one of Greg's fears is public places. And Greg was asked by his mom to go into the bathroom with his little brother Manny. Greg sees sights he wouldn't want to see. WORST DAY EVER! And how could it get any worse? Many goes and pees in the pool. Gross!
